Seaman by Fence RPPC World War One Postcard

I do not know a lot about postcards but I picked up a neat collection of real photo postcards- I believe to generally be from WWI but they may be from WWII?- (any discoloration not noted below is shadows from the scanner)

This shows a sailor standing in front of a fence.  Not mailed but the back says "Hello guy, you old Sea Dog, Merry Christmas Happy New Year, Al".  Light wear.
