The Song of Hiawatha by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 1st HC Book

From Ticknor & Fields in 1855 (on title and copyright page).  First American edition (has "dove", the missing "n", November ads in back- if you want a specific point checked, please contact me but the research I've done shows this to be a first).  316 pages.  Little foxing on first few pages.  Light bumping on front board, one ding on top border.  The spine has a little missing at the top as seen.  The back board has some damage- little waviness on top, a few small tears on back board cloth.  The binding is tight.  The issue with this book is that the last 25 pages has a little waviness (including inside pastedown) and spots as seen.  An important work in its American first.
